Monika Herzig will discuss her book, David Baker: A Legacy in Music, Thursday February 23 at 7:00 P.M. at the library red room.  Baker was the long time Distinguished Professor and Chairman of the Jazz
Studies department at Indiana University.  He was also a renowned jazz trombone and cello player and made a distinctive mark on the world of music in his nearly
60-year career. Viewpoint will be on hand for those wishing to purchase a copy of the book which also includes a cd of interviews with and music of David Baker.
